The logo of the tercentenary is based on a picture that was painted by the leading botanical artist of his day, Georg Dilnys Ehret. The painting illustrates Class 10 of the sexual system.

Eatnansaddu - The Sámi and The Use of Wild Plants exhibition deals with the ways traditional Sámi food and medical plants and other wild plants that were important for the Sámi. The exhibition pays homage to the 300th anniversary of Carl von Linné´s birth.
