The logo of the tercentenary is based on a picture that was painted by the leading botanical artist of his day, Georg Dilnys Ehret. The painting illustrates Class 10 of the sexual system.

Installation - "Mosaic of Nature"

At the Mitsukoshi Ginza department store, the Swedish artist and designer Karin Westlund has created an installation called “Mosaic of Nature", which consists of 300 lithographs and screen prints, all handmade by herself. The installation is inspired by Linnaeus and exhibited in the department´s Event Hall (8 Floor) between April 3 and April 9.
