Schools that work actively using Linnaeus as a starting point for developing education in the natural sciences can be awarded status as a Linnaeus School , 2007. More information about this will be available during the spring of 2006 from the websites of the Swedish Centre for School Biology and Biotechnology andThe Swedish National Agency for School Improvement. Schools will be informed about the Linnaeus Schools Project during 2006, starting in the latter part of the spring (preliminary date is March). Material for schools (both printed and Internet-based) will be available at the end of 2006.
