Comprehensive environmental policy
The Linnaeus Tercentenary in 2007 will be permeated by an environmental focus and a sensitivity to the environment fully in the spirit of Linnaeus. He was the first to describe ecological relationships, and he started the cataloguing of plant life and animal life throughout the world.Enthusiasm and joy characterise our environmental work, not least captured in the three key concepts of the tercentenary: curiosity, creativity and science. This work will reinforce Sweden´s international reputation as a leading environmental example, something that will benefit future generations. All information on this web site is from the Linnaeus Tercentenary year of 2007 and has not been updated since.
