Göteborg University is responsible for one of the more spectacular events that are planned for Linné2007. The project "I Linnés kölvatten" ("Following In Linnaeus' Wake") will give researchers from the Faculty of Science the opportunity to follow the expedition of the East Indies clipper Götheborg in order to collect and document marine flora and fauna. Local universities at some ports of call are collaborating in the project, as are school classes, analysing the material collected. These analyses will be presented using video conferencing and on a website.
